getting ecotec motor from junk yard. wandering about electrical and how much of wiring loom to get and is there any body that can help with ideas on who can tweak the computer for installation in new buggy .
I was told by a buddy that you need the ECM and harness. In a buggy, I don't beleive you need the BCM (lights, windows, cruise, etc.) The ECM will need flash and I believe you need the cable that goes into the vehicle similar to an OBD2 but it may be more specific similar to an ethernet. My friend says that he could tell me which wires to delete. I am specific talking about the 1.4T LUV engine.
