ok let see I have a Chevy Cobalt LS 2.2L 4 cyl 16 valves ecotec. I bought it like 4 mounths ago. It came with the 4 speed automatic transmission. By what I can find on the specs for the transmission it is 4T45 MN5 with a 7 position quadrants P, R, OD, 3, 2, 1 with a max shift speed of 5800 rpms. I would like to switch it to a manual 5 speed Getrag M86 with a Fidanza Lightened Flywheel for Cobalt 2.2L. What Do you think? How hard do you think it would be? Do you have any adivice?
Here is the spec i was looking at
