so I'm swapping an 03 ecotec motor into my 96 cavy. Seems to me that the biggest pain is that everybody claims I'll need to basically completely swap the electronics throughout, being that 95-99 have multiple computers and 00-05 have a BCM. What I'm wondering is if anybody honestly knows if I would be able to make the computers that are currently in my car work in unison with the bcm and ecu from the new motor in such a way that I wouldn't have to completely swap out everything. It would be ideal if I could keep my current radio, airbags, cluster, etc.... There has to be a way to make something like this work. I have pin-outs for both ecu's, is there anybody out there that could source me the wiring diagrams for everything else for both vehicles. if I could get my hands on those I'd have a better chance of figuring this out. thanks for any help possible
