As most of you know, the 2,2 Eco comes with a plastic intake manifold, which is Supposed to be good up to 400 Hp. I know that the saab 9-3 has the 2.0 Turbo Ecotec, and that comes with an aluminum intake manifold which is Supposed to be good up to 800 hp. It is also only about $160. I am pretty clear on GM's but does anybody know for sure will the Saab Manifold fit the 2.2Eco?
Where did you get the 800 HP number from?
The 2.0 Turbo ECOTEC Saab manifold WILL bolt onto a L61.
The issue (if you have a jbody) was bolting the throttle body onto the manifold because there are a different number of holes on the manifold than the throttle body has (I don't remember the # of bolts needed but there is a way to make it work).
