ok i have a 02 cavalier manual tranny with the 2200 and imma do a ecotec swap....doin the swap is no problem but...... i cant decide whether i wanta get the 2.2 and build it up and turbo it or get the 2.0 and wait for the twin charger system and build it from there..... oh man twin charge will be awsome...just hearing the wineing of the supercharger then PSSSSSS of the turbos blow off... that would be sick... but i would probly have to wait a long time i dunno what to dooo

You could get the LSJ(2.0SC) and slap a Saab 9-3 turbo on it. The Saab 9-3 was a 2.0 TC instead of SC. So the parts will bolt up.

Or what you could also do is build up the new 2.4L ecotec.

Since that is a new engine it might not be possible to swap.

Will the engine harness fit in to stock fuse block?
Is the programming same as for our cars?
Will the BCM work?
Will the gauges work with new BCM?
Are the engine & trans mounts the same?

I don't think the mounts are since it's a different chassis style. Might be wrong.
