Now that I have 3000 miles on my G6.....I was wondering if the Ecotec engine is usually quiet....or can there be a slight "clucking" (best word for the sound) at idle?
The only noise I knew of with the Ecos was the Getrag tranny issue... What transmission do you have?
Have the automatic......with over 4400 miles on the G6 now, the engine is quiet.....
Wanted to switch to a K&N air filter to my '06 2.4L G6.......but K&N doesn't make one.....anyone else make a performance air filter for this engine? Thank you.
My pontiac Sunfire SLX 4 door 4 speed auto also does the noise when at Idle.
it runs like diesel but quieter... any clues if it's normal
