Could preformance parts from other Ecotec cars work on an 06 HHR 2.4 engine

I bought one. The 2.2, 5 speed plain Jane type. No roof racks, no running boards, not even the fog lamps. I drive about 65 miles round trip a day and needed the gas milage that I now get. Computer says about 28.5 at an average speed of 65 mph. Looking for performace parts for these 2006 models is very difficult. I think we HHR owners will have to wait at least a year before anybody recognizes them.
You shouldnt have to wait to long as ecotec parts are starting to grow and grow......and yes any engine mods made for the 2.4ecotec would work on you 2.4HHR the SS NONE supercharged cobalts have the 2.4 so just keep your eys upen for that.
